What we collect

Only what you give us through our forms, by email or by phone: your name, email address, phone number, country, organisation, the kind of investor you are, your budget range, the opportunities you are interested in and your message. We do not buy personal information.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a discussion, at your request.
• To decide whether to share details of a private opportunity with you, which is in our legitimate interest and yours.
• If you go ahead, to carry out the identity and anti-money-laundering checks the law requires, and to keep the records it requires.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the companies that host our website and email, who process it on our behalf; with the professionals involved in an opportunity, such as the developer, lawyers and tax advisers, and only with your agreement; and with authorities where the law requires it. Some of our service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, under recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not go further, we keep your information for up to two years after our last contact. If you invest, we keep records for as long as the law requires, which for anti-money-laundering records is generally five years after the relationship ends.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to pass to someone else. Where we rely on your agreement, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@bestselectinvestments.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
